July 15, 2010 – With their latest partnership, Yahoo’s real estate site will rely exclusively on Zillow for sales listings. Zillow is currently ranked second and Yahoo third behind the leader, Move.

PCWorld shared this news in their article, “Yahoo Hands Over Property Sales Listings to Zillow”. The deal, whose financial terms weren’t disclosed, will bring Zillow’s approximately 4 million property sales listings to Yahoo Real Estate later this year, but it will not affect the way Zillow’s own Web site works and will not include rental properties. The companies first partnered four years ago when Yahoo began displaying Zillow’s property value estimates on Yahoo Real Estate. Yahoo has a history of striking similar partnerships with the likes of Match.com and Monster.com and is apparently working on one with Microsoft for their search crawling, indexing, and ranking.
