August 11, 2010 – Hosted by the Linguistic Resources and Evaluation Conference (LREC), the OntoLex workshop is designed to address researchers and practitioners from a variety of backgrounds who are concerned with the representation, acquisition, and use of lexical knowledge in semantic annotation, ontology-based approaches to information extraction, ontology learning, ontology matching, ontology population, and so forth.

Scheduled for August 21-22, 2010 in Beijing, this now yearly workshop is for a constantly growing, interdisciplinary community of lexicographers, ontologists, and computational linguists who recognize OntoLex as their common “meeting place”.

Celebrating its 10th “birthday”, OntoLex aims at fostering the discussion about next-generation theories and applications, on the basis of state-of-the-art technologies and on-going projects within the Ontolex community. For more information or to register, check out their website.
