September 28, 2010 – EasyAsk, a provider of natural language search and query software for corporate applications, has integrated its EasyAsk Business Edition with the NetSuite cloud computing platform. Using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud development platform, the combined solution will help NetSuite users of all types search their NetSuite data to identify and act upon new sales opportunities, proactively serve customers, and execute key business processes faster and more efficiently.

RedOrbit brought this to our attention in their article, “EasyAsk Integrates EasyAsk Business Edition With NetSuite’s Cloud Computing Platform.” EasyAsk Business Edition transparently converts business questions into back-end queries, retrieves the data, and returns the results to the user. No technical skills or training are required. EasyAsk uses semantic intelligence to understand the context of user inquiries and offers suggestions and auto completion to further guide users. It also employs a rich dictionary and data map to let users explore combinations of data to analyze unique problems and its report sharing lets co-workers share data and collaborate on processes.

Semantic technology continues to evolve and be applied. It has never been more important to have someone with the expertise and knowledge handling your content, building your ontologies, and making your information findable.
