September 16, 2010 –eFileCabinet Version 5.0 contains in-demand features, including document-level indexing, full-text search, document retention, document tracking, and workflow.

We learned of this in WebCPA’s article, “eFileCabinet Upgrades Document Management Suite.”  The new features have been designed serve the needs of businesses and organizations, no matter their industry. eFileCabinet Inc. seeks to be customers’ sole provider of software to capture data digitally, and to quickly and easily manage and share those files. Their core services are available to safely back up the data.

One key component of this new release is the addition of the workflow feature. The developers sought and received considerable feedback from the CPA user community. In addition, the routing system in eFileCabinet was designed to be flexible and can be simple or more detailed, depending on the users’ needs.
