MetaVis Technologies has announced the availability of MetaVis Information Manager for SharePoint 2010, which enables users to bulk import, copy and classify content directly from the SharePoint user interface.

With this, SharePoint users can copy content between different SharePoint sites, site collections, lists and libraries. Users will no longer have to individually classify documents or items, which is good as this can be extremely time consuming. Users can apply metadata in bulk during file import, copy or just in-place to improve SharePoint search and findability.

We like those words. Improving findability is always a worthy goal.
