A team of librarians from regional branches of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine have come to the Radiology Society of North America’s (RNSA) annual conference in Chicago to host educational sessions on helping clinicians easily find reference material. This has taken place for fifteen years and that continues for RNSA 2011 next month.

We found this interesting information on Health Data Management in their article, “RSNA Session Seeks to Ease Reference Searches.” The goal is to help clinicians find the information they need in a timely manner in the National Library of Medicine’s PubMed/MEDLINE, a public system of 21.2 million citations pointing to various articles from multiple sources. A key step in achieving findability is indexing. All MEDLINE articles are indexed.
