DATAMARK has launched a national survey to gather a snapshot of the healthcare industry’s preparation for reform in the shadow of the pending U.S. Supreme Court decision on the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Virtual Strategy Magazine brought this news to our attention in their article, “DATAMARK Launches Healthcare Reform Readiness Survey.” The survey’s mission is to discover whether the industry is ready for the influx of business processes and IT infrastructure to support the many things going on in the healthcare field – electronic health records, ICD-10 coding transition, and all that healthcare reform brings to the table – to name just a few.

There is a lot going on and a lot of money being spent on these projects. It seems prudent to assess the readiness of the industry.
