KWizCom has announced the release of a new feature for SharePoint. Tagging Feature has customizable settings that make classifying information more accurate and therefore, the search results more comprehensive.

This interesting information was brought to our attention by SBWire in their article, “Kwizcom Introduce Sharepoint Tagging Feature with Its Sharepoint Taxonomy Solution.” Tagging is not included in SharePoint 2007, but the 2010 version offers a simple taxonomy system. This new feature is essentially an upgrade to what comes standard, and enables users to have more control and customization.

SharePoint changes the way users collaborate, manage, and find information. And we all know how important finding our information can be, and also how challenging it can be. Access Innovations’ Data Harmony suite of content enrichment and thesaurus management tools can be fully integrated with Microsoft SharePoint 2010. SharePoint users can take full advantage of their metadata through auto-classification, enterprise taxonomy management, entity extraction, and search enhancements.
