The National Federation of Advanced Information Services (NFAIS) offers educational opportunities in various venues. One of them is their virtual Lunch & Learn with NFAIS sessions and the next one is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26, 2016.

PLOS’s Mark Johnson will be providing an overview of new alternative peer review approaches and discuss lessons learned at PLOS in dealing with peer review at scale.

Mark also will share relevant statistics around the peer review system and will provide an in-depth overview of Aperta, PLOS’s newly launched submission, editorial and peer review system.

You can join NFAIS on the fourth Tuesday every other month to spur new thinking, highlight industry trends and new technologies, and find creative solutions to today’s challenges.

Lunch & Learn events are free for NFAIS members. Non-members are welcome to attend at $65 for individual registration or $175 for unlimited group registration.
