The British Library and Publishing Technology have announced a new partnership, which will make 5,400 new journal and book titles available via the ingentaconnect online platform. This interesting information came from Publishing Technology in their post, “British Library and Publishing Technology collaborate to make Document Supply Service content available via ingentaconnect.”
Journal content from an assortment of academic publishers, such as Oxford University Press, Elsevier Science, Nature Publishing Group, and the Royal Society of Chemistry, will be available for ingentaconnect users to purchase as part of this new partnership.
Academic publishing isn’t known for changes. Access to research material has often been difficult to attain. Publishing was still expensive and research material hard to find. Once people see the wealth of possibilities, their eyes will be opened to new possibilities.
