Open access to scholarly research is finally being embraced by governments, libraries, publishers and the global research community. The National Federation of Advanced Information Sciences (NFAIS) is offering a one-day workshop to explore which financial models have the greatest promise in support of open access.
This event will be held Friday, October 23, at The Hub’s Cira Centre in Philadelphia. NFAIS is bringing together thought leaders from the non-profit, commercial, consulting and academic sectors to share perspectives and research on the impact of open access. Presenters will will look at this issue across the spectrum of scholarly disciplines, including STM, the Humanities and the Social Sciences.
You don’t have to make the trip to Philly, you can attend virtually. If you have a conflict with the date or time, don’t worry. NFAIS one-day workshops are recorded and archived so you can view the program at a more convenient time.
