Mirada Medical, MAASTRO clinic, the Netherlands and SOHARD Software GmbH have won a European Eurostars grant to develop the next generation of automatic contouring and semantic database driven treatment planning support software. This unique collaboration includes Mirada Medical combining its expertise on medical image analysis and registration with the clinical knowledge from MAASTRO clinic. SOHARD will provide access to and further develop its semantic database technology that will be used to index large datasets of previously delivered radiation therapy plans.
MAASTRO clinic will provide access to up to 2.5M images, plans and contour sets from previous radiation therapy plans.
Utilizing Mirada’s machine learning and image analysis technology to learn the patterns and relationships deep within the data will deliver automatic contouring and treatment planning support.
