The technology world is and has always been in a constant state of flux. As new technologies enter the arena, this means new ways to collect, store and use data. Many organizations are experimenting with machine learning and metadata as well. Silicon ANGLE brought this news to our attention in their article, “Are machine learning and metadata the new central nervous system for business?”
To better use data insights, the industry is moving toward predictive analytics and machine learning. Companies will organize around metadata. This allows companies to leave data where it is, then use the metadata layer as the central nervous system for their information architecture.
This metadata approach has proved especially useful in computer security because there are so many ways to access data, and securing the access points is impractical. Instead, they are securing the data.
