Following their success last year, the Professional/Scholarly Publishing (PSP) Division of the Association of American Publishers (AAP) is offering “The Changing Discovery Landscape – Part 2: Products, Tools, and Services from Vendors and Publishers” workshop again this fall.
Creating enhanced tools and services can be very expensive and require a large amount of resources. This session is scheduled for September 12, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. (EDT) and will give an overview of the discovery landscape, discuss the different kinds of discovery products, tools, and services, and note the benefits. It is offered in-person and via webinar.
The Changing Discovery Landscape-Part 2 will hear from service providers—two vendors and a publisher—who will give their perspectives on the search and discovery landscape. They have developed products, tools, and services that are specifically designed to ease the problems and clear the hurdles addressed by researchers and librarians in The Changing Discovery Landscape – Part 1 last fall.
