The Information Architecture Conference (IAC) 2019 is coming up soon. This year will be a 20 year celebration of the event for practitioners and academics who confront the systemic challenge of creating and managing digital user interfaces and rich information environments.
If you haven’t already registered for this event, it is scheduled for March 15-17, 2019 in Orlando, Florida, with pre-conference workshops on March 13-14, 2019.
A variety of topics will be covered by an equally diverse group of presenters. Starting the first day off will be our own Bob Kasenchak leading I’m a Taxonomist (and So Can You!): Vocabularies as Gateways. Other options include Data Through Time and Space: A Case Study in Designing for Event-Based Linked-Data by Kristen Carter, Information Architecture for All the Senses by Cassini Nazir, and Share Outs from the Diversity and Inclusion in Information Architecture Practitioners Roundtable featuring Sarah Rice, Andrea Resmini and Bern Irizarry.
A complete list of keynotes and workshops can be found here, along with registration information. Early bird pricing ends on Friday, February 8th.
