In this age of artificial intelligence (AI) driven automation and autonomous machines, dealing with the issues surrounding the human factor and governance can be overwhelming. This interesting topic came to us from Forbes in their article, “Troubling Trends Towards Artificial Intelligence Governance.”
When it comes to AI governance, the idea is that there should be a legal framework for ensuring that machine learning technologies are well researched and developed with the goal of helping humanity navigate the adoption of AI systems fairly.
AI governance aims to close the gap that exists between accountability and ethics in technological advancement. Due to the rise of the implementation of AI across sectors everywhere, the concern of definitively outlining AI governance is becoming greater.
There has been some focus on the role of ethics, privacy and morals in the use and governance of AI. It is important to make AI transparent, accountable and fair, but we need to also create a focus on its security risks.
