Registration is open for the annual Data Harmony Users Group (DHUG) meeting. Access Innovations, Inc., provider of Data Harmony software solutions, is proud to announce the meeting will be held February 18 and 19, 2020 at the Hotel Andaluz in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The meeting is open to current and prospective clients as well as anyone interested in hearing about the Data Harmony software and how Access Innovations’ clients are implementing semantics and controlled vocabularies within their organizations.
“The DHUG meetings are designed for our clients to learn from each other and share ideas for improving their processes,” explains Heather Kotula, VP of Marketing and Communications at Access Innovations, Inc. “We craft the agenda so that the user case studies and implementation dominate the program. We ask our clients to be on the podium as much as possible. DHUG registration includes a Tuesday evening networking dinner, which will be held at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Past attendees cite this dinner as one of the most valuable opportunities for networking.”
Case studies presented by clients are a favorite of attendees at DHUG meetings. These presentations outline how Data Harmony is being implemented in the production pipeline at client sites, giving DHUG attendees a chance to look behind the scenes and learn from other users.
Dr. Bob Allkin of the Royal Gardens, Kew, will deliver the featured presentation about his work on the Medicinal Plant Names Service, a global nomenclatural indexing and reference service for medicinal plants aimed at those involved in global health, regulation and research.
The meeting will take place at the historic Hotel Andaluz in Albuquerque. Reservations must be made by January 17, 2020. To register for the meeting and make reservations at the Hotel Andaluz, visit the DHUG page on the Access Innovations website.
