If you are a frequent reader of this blog you know I like unique taxonomies. You also should know that I love dogs. So this particular taxonomy is right up my alley. The Ringer brought us this unique taxonomy in their article, “A Taxonomy of Movie Dogs.”
There are many types of dogs and many different jobs for dogs. One of those includes starring in movies. You automatically think of Benji, Lassie or even Toto, but there are so many more dogs that have graced the silver screen. However, Hollywood expects much more from our canine friends than to just be good buddies.
In movies, dogs are solving crimes, disrupting professional sports games and doing physical feats of heroism. They are also slobbering and sleeping while human actors create mayhem.
This unique taxonomy reminds us that you can classify anything – medical codes, music, and yes, canines. The important thing to remember to use a professional with a proven history of building custom taxonomies. Access Innovations’ solutions are ANSI-compliant and implement state-of-the-art technology to speed tagging and reduce errors.
