In early February, Atypon team members Hong Zhou, Director of Product Management and Gerasimos Razis, Product Manager, who both specialize in Artificial Intelligence, presented to Access Innovations’ Data Harmony User Group meeting (DHUG).
Access Innovations and Atypon have been collaborating to provide a complete taxonomic workflow and to optimize Literatum’s taxonomy functionality toward improved classification, search and discovery. Together, we share many clients, including American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Engineers, American Chemical Society, American Psychiatric Association, Health Affairs, and American College of Physicians within our respective communities. As we move toward increased exploration and implementation of Artificial Intelligence, with the goal to continuously improve publishers’ taxonomic services, our two organizations bring complementary offerings that make our solutions better together.
“This is my second time attending this conference,” said Hong Zhou. “It provides a good opportunity for us to discover the latest developments and ideas from an experienced and well-known taxonomy vendor, and helps us to meet and talk to Atypon customers directly so that we can better understand their needs and challenges so we can develop useful products for them. Also, the meeting is an excellent forum for connecting with other publishers and companies and identifying new collaboration opportunities.”
“DHUG is the ideal meetup for Access Innovations and Atypon to unveil their state-of-the-art complementary taxonomic offerings to content providers, with the common aim of benefiting the whole scientific and research ecosystem,” said Gerasimos Razis.
“We were thrilled to welcome the Atypon team back to present at DHUG this year,” commented Heather Kotula, VP of Marketing and Communications at Access Innovations. “At the DHUG meeting in 2020, Chris Rudyj of Health Affairs facilitated a lively discussion with Atypon staff, Access Innovations staff, and some of the clients we have in common. I think our audience remains very interested in keeping up with Atypon development, including learning about the changes they have made to the platform based on DHUG conversations, especially when it comes to implementing taxonomies on the Atypon platform. as well as learning about future developments planned.”
