Google has announced plans for a search that combines images and text to give more context to search queries. The method can use a smartphone’s camera in combination with artificial intelligence (AI) in an attempt to intuitively refine and expand search results. TechSpot brought this news to us in their article, “Google is using artificial intelligence to make information more useful.”
The next stage of Google search consists of machine learning algorithms becoming more prominent in the process by organizing and presenting information directly. In this, Google efforts will be helped hugely by recent advances in AI language processing.
Making data accessible is something we know a little about. Whatever you are searching for in your own enterprise, it is important to have a comprehensive search feature and quality indexing against a standards-based taxonomy.
Unfortunately, most organizations have little knowledge on how AI systems make the decisions they do, and as a result, how the results are being applied in the various fields. Explainable AI allows users to comprehend and trust the results and output created by machine learning algorithms.
