Talend Managing Metadata Databases

November 26, 2010 – Talend, a developer of open source data management software, today announced that NOAA’s Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) has selected Talend Integration Suite to improve the ease of integrating its metadata database systems.

We found this news on Business Wire in their article, “National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Selects Talend to Streamline Data Integration.” CO-OPS can now use their data management system to help the development team in transitioning station information data from its operational metadata databases to a consolidated metadata database currently under development. Talend Integration Suite is an open source enterprise data integration solution designed to support multi-user development and to scale to the highest levels of data volumes and process complexity.

Good database management is important in being able to find your data when you need it.
