Business Intelligence Takes Center Stage

December 23, 2010 – Business intelligence is the topic of this part of an article series discussing IT architecture and what the future holds.

We found this interesting information on B-Eye-Network in their article, “From Business Intelligence to Enterprise IT Architecture, Part 9.” This ongoing series of articles describes a new enterprise IT architecture that emerges from a re-evaluation of modern business intelligence needs and technologies.

The author reminds us that though moving to a new architecture may seem hard, we can’t just wait for the evolution like we have for the past few decades. We have to find a way to move from the current situation, because the current approach supports today’s business needs at a bare minimum.

This part of the article series is interesting and make some challenging observations. Check it out for yourself.
