Cummins Appointed to Process Knowledge Initiative Team

December 27, 2010 – OMG has announced that a longtime OMG participant and Chair of OMG’s Business Modeling and Integration Task Force, Fred Cummins, has been named as an expert participant on the Process Knowledge Initiative Technical Team.

PRNewsWire brought this news to our attention in their article, “OMG Task Force Chair Named to Process Knowledge Initiative Technical Team.” The Process Knowledge Initiative’s sole purpose is creating an open source body of knowledge on process management.

In addition to chairing the BMI Task Force, Cummins is also the Business Systems Architect, Agile Enterprise Design, and a Former HP Fellow. The Technical Integration Team is responsible for establishing the PKBoK blueprint (scope, knowledge areas, ontology, content templates), recruiting working group leaders, and coordinating content development, publication and review.
