December 7, 2010 – DocuWare recently announced that they have applied for and received ISO 9001 recertification in 2010. The main requirement for certification is in-place methods and processes to prevent errors and maintaining a seamless quality management system.
TMCNet brought this news to our attention in their article, “DocuWare: International Standard Achieved_DocuWare.” The software company specifically received the certificate for the segment Development and Sales of Standard Software for Document Management.
Standards are important. They are not a straightjacket. Standards can make the process faster and consistent. Standards can facilitate smoother information retrieval. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies.
