February 16, 2011 – In the day and age of Web 3.0, the focus seems to be around data and its mobility. So where does that leave content?

We found this interesting topic on Fierce Content Management in their article, “Could data replace content as king?” For many people the semantic web and its learnability makes mobile apps, data-centric technology, and the two-way data communication the new “top dog”. This ability to provide information and gather it is what separates apps from web pages.

The author of the article contends that content will always matter. Sometimes it is on a website and sometimes it is inside an app on a smart phone or tablet – either way it is still content. What are your thoughts on the subject?
