Knowledge Organization Must Reads

February 15, 2011 – The new issue of Knowledge Organization Literature (bibliography), edited by Ia McIlwaine, is now published on the ISKO website.

A classified bibliography of recent contributions to the literature on knowledge organization was a regular feature of each issue of Knowledge Organization for many years. Beginning in 2009, continuations of this bibliography are published only online. The most recent issue, Knowledge organization literature 2011, n. 1 is now available.

Included in the listing of literature is An introduction to taxonomy and its role in information organization by Mitra Samiei; Knowledge and information: perspectives and prospects by G.J. Narayana; and Emilia Currás’ Ontologies, taxonomies and thesauri in systems science and systematic.
