Workshare Point Will Support SharePoint 2010

Workshare has announced support for SharePoint Foundation 2010 in the next version of Workshare Point. As a Gold Certified Partner, the new version will allow users to connect to a SharePoint Online Server hosted by Microsoft, part of the cloud-based Microsoft’s Office 365, delivering a seamless SharePoint user experience.

TMC brought this news to our attention in their article, “Workshare to Support Office 365, SharePoint Foundation 2010 in Next Version of Workshare Point.” This is an exciting and financially feasible option for smaller companies looking for a low-cost entry-level solution for secure Web-based collaboration.

Workshare Point 1.2 will provide many new abilities, including an improved auto-profiling which automatically catches metadata from documents and emails and pre-populates the profile pop-up.
