Silverchair is Hosting SPIE Digital Library

Silverchair Information Systems will be hosting the SPIE Digital Library, a research resource on optics and photonics, on its SCM6 semantic product development and hosting platform.

We found this interesting information on OptoIQ in their article, “SPIE selects Silverchair semantic platform to host online library.” The SPIE Digital Library contains more than 320,000 technical papers from SPIE Journals and Conference Proceedings from 1990 to the present and more than 150 SPIE Press books. Publishing approximately 17,000 new technical papers and 15 to 20 new books in the library each year, adds to the volume of valuable content within.

With Silverchair’s SCM6 platform, the library will have new features to assist researchers and draw connections between topically related information across the SPIE corpus.
