Northern Illinois University Libraries have launched a new search service this semester. Primo incorporates the advanced developments in search engine technology that seeks to provide an easier and more intuitive process for locating academic literature.
The database combines all Northern Illinois University books, full-text articles and digital resources into a single search index and point of entry. The information retrieved from Primo is comprehensive and the speed at which the in-depth results are provided exceeds any prior search service. Because the search results can be filtered by faceting, the results are segmented for your own use. This refinement of subject makes findability of data even more attainable.
Comprehensive search results are important. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies to make their information findable.
