A new mobile app for your iPhone tells you when people who belong to your social circle are physically near you. Can we say stalker?
This interesting topic was discovered on SFGate in their article, “Here’s A Socially Acceptable Way To Stalk People Around You.” The app is called Highlight and it shows you photos of people around you and see who you know in common — before you even talk to them. This app was created by Paul Davison, who has a history of entrepreneurship. Davison’s last startup was a semantic web company called Metaweb, which was acquired by Google in 2010. After the acquisition, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Benchmark Capital, where he seeded the idea for Highlight.
