Elsevier has released ClinicalKey, their clinical insight engine powered by Smart Content. This new release maps the largest collection of clinical resources, covering every medical and surgical specialty, to a proprietary medical taxonomy. ClinicalKey aims to provide more clinically relevant answers than conventional search engines, saving doctors’ time and informing decisions that can improve outcomes.

Knowledge Speak brought this topic to our attention in their article, “Elsevier presents clinical insight engine ClinicalKey at Health In4matic Expo.” The ClinicalKey user base is composed of clinicians at hospitals, healthcare systems, and medical schools. Making findability even more possible in the healthcare setting should have an interesting future.
