Webnodes has released a new version of their .Net semantic content management system. This latest release features semantic e-commerce, several new mobile features, and support for ASP.Net MVC.

CMSWire brought this news to our attention in their article, “Webnodes Updates Its Semantic.Net Web CMS, Adds E-Commerce, Mobile.” Webnodes isn’t your normal hierarchical content management system platform. They have embraced semantic technology, and that allows users to separate content, presentation, and meaning. With an ontology to define content, the relationships and connections are identified, and that provides dynamic search results.

The ontology is needed to ensure that the machine-assisted or fully automated indexing is comprehensive, regardless of what you are indexing.
