Oracle is buying social media monitoring platform Collective Intellect, which means those services will soon be available in the Oracle cloud-based social CRM platform.
Research-Live brought this news to our attention in their article, “Oracle buys social monitoring platform Collective Intellect.” Collective Intellect was originally launched six years ago and has developed a semantic analytics engine that powers two services: 1) Collective Intellect Insight, which analyzes conversations to identify emerging trends and issues; and 2) Collective Intellect View, which feeds that data into an automated dashboard.
Social media breeds collaboration. Having a strategy that focuses on the data that social media can collect can result in dynamic results.
