Twitter continues to grow in usage and in data, personal data. More than 400 million tweets take place each day, which is up from 340 million just one month ago. Interestingly, the majority of Twitter users are mobile.
This interesting topic was found on CNet in their article, “Twitter hits 400 million tweets per day, mostly mobile.” More businesses are relying on Twitter for ads and public relations, and the engagement level of mobile users with businesses continue to increase.
Ironically, I write this on a day that Twitter was down longer than ever before. The result of that deprivation spilled over to other social media sites. In fact, I learned of Twitter’s temporary hiatus on Facebook.
