John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has chosen TEMIS’s Luxid Platform to enhance its scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly (STMS) content. The result will be search and discovery tools providing professional and academic researchers with faster and better findability. This interesting news was found on Phys.org in their article, “Wiley selects TEMIS for semantic big data initiative.”

Luxid will be used to annotate current and future information sources, including reference works, databases and Wiley’s collection of 1,500 journals.

Indexing against a solid standards-based taxonomy is the best way to achieve comprehensive findability. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies.
