TEMIS has launched an integration of the company’s Content Enrichment Platform into SharePoint 2013. This will provide the ability to automatically extract relevant topics, entities, facts, sentiments, or categories from documents and generate rich metadata. This interesting news was brought to our attention by Image & Data Manager in their article, “Metadata tool for SharePoint 2013.”
Once in SharePoint, this semantic metadata is freely available for use by any application for content management, archival, business process automation, analytics and search. “This second-generation integration will help enable our customers to deploy semantic enrichment industrially on their SharePoint 2013 farms”, said Michaël Domanski, Alliances and Channel Manager, TEMIS.
Working with SharePoint can enhance the value and usability of software. Access Innovations’ Data Harmony suite of content enrichment and thesaurus management tools can be fully integrated with Microsoft SharePoint 2010. SharePoint users can take full advantage of their metadata through auto-classification, enterprise taxonomy management, entity extraction, and search enhancements.
