Professor Recognized for Semantic Contribution

Professor Ronen Feldman, one of the world’s leading authorities in the field of text mining as well as co-founder and chief scientist at Digital Trowel, has been selected as one of five finalists to compete for the prestigious 2013 AQR Insight Award. The AQR Insight Award is sponsored by AQR Capital to recognize outstanding unpublished papers that provide the most significant and practical insights for tax-exempt institutional or investor portfolios. PRWeb brought this news to our attention in their article, “Digital Trowel’s Ronen Feldman Selected as Finalist for 2013 AQR Award.”

The submission from Professor Feldman and three colleagues highlighted the results of The Stock Sonar, a sentiment analysis tool.

The five finalists will present their research to AQR’s investment teams. The award will recognize up to three exceptional papers, and the authors will share a prize of $100,000.
