New Reporting System for Law Enforcement

The Hudson Police Department’s new online reporting system, Coplogic, will be launching next week. This comes after much delay from the original planned December launch, but is welcomed with great anticipation. The MetroWest Daily News brought this interesting news to us in their article, “Hudson’s online reporting system to launch early next week.”

Created by a California police officer, the Coplogic online reporting system links through the Hudson Police Department’s website. Residents will be able to access from their home computers to file an online report for incidents such as harassing phone calls and identity theft. Then an officer will review the report, determine if additional information is needed, and then add the report into the department’s records system.

This new project will save time, create a more efficient reporting system, and keep officers on the streets instead of taking reports.
