Republic Polytechnic has implemented a new records management system in order to capture and allow easy retrieval of institutional knowledge. This interesting information was found on FutureGov.com in their article, “Polytechnic in Singapore rolls out records management system.” The records management system, called eDocs, was released in November last year and has accumulated close to 300,000 records.

The Polytechnic, which started in 2003 with 200 students, has now grown to support 15,000 students and 1,000 administrative and teaching staff. That is a lot of information to manage. It is important to choose the right partner in technology, especially when your content is in their hands.
