Recruitment Utilizing Semantic Technology

TargetRecruit recently announced a new integration with Monster’s SeeMore platform. The result will be a more robust recruitment software and, one would think, an increase in effectiveness. PRWeb brought this news to us in their article, “TargetRecruit Integrates with Monster’s Semantic Search and Workforce Analytics Recruitment Platform to Provide Advanced Search and Talent Mapping Features.”

This integration will enable recruiters to leverage the advanced search feature of SeeMore as it unites semantic search with the cloud. This “meeting of the minds” will allow search on multiple databases. “Our users will now have the power of dynamic search features of Monster’s SeeMore as well as the varied features TargetRecruit provides as a cloud based Applicant Tracking System. This is going to be an absolute delight for the recruiters,” said Reena Gupta, CEO TargetRecruit.

Semantic search is not the same thing as the semantic web. Semantic search is utilizing data to locate specific information within search. This is important to remember as you place the content you want others to find.
