The Society for Classical Studies is inviting applications for a one-year Fellowship from July 2015 through June 2016. The Fellowship will enable an American scholar to participate in the work of the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae Institute (TLL) in Munich.
The TLL offers the opportunity to develop a broadened perspective of the range and complexity of the Latin language and culture from the classical period through the early Middle Ages, as well as contribute signed articles to the Thesaurus and participate in a collaborative international research project in a collegial environment.
If you are interested, the Fellowship carries a stipend in the amount of $50,400, and is made possible in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Before leaving for Munich, fellows receive up to $1,850 in additional funds to support training in Latin lexicography and (if necessary) German. Learn more here.
