The Special Libraries Association (SLA) 2016 annual conference is being held on June 12-14, 2016 in Philadelphia. There are many networking opportunities at SLA 2016 that will allow you to share your experiences and learn from other information professionals.

The conference comprises over 200 events, including educational programs, networking events, receptions, and tours – the list is almost endless.

One workshop you might consider is What is a Content Management System, and Can I Use My Taxonomy with it? It is scheduled for Monday, June 13th and one of the speakers is our own Marjorie Hlava from Access Innovations. She will be joining Ann Rodgers from Cargill to give an overview of several content management systems (CMS) and how they can be employed on websites and enterprise document management systems, and most importantly, how taxonomies can be leveraged to enhance findability within an organization’s content holdings.
