Learning Opportunity That Addresses Indexing

The Association of American Publishers’ (AAP) Professional & Scholarly Publishing (PSP) Division is offering another exciting educational opportunity (in person or via webinar).

This time the PSP Books Committee will be hearing from guest speaker Pat Carlson, VP Metadata Standards & Bibliographic Control at Alexander Street, a ProQuest Company, to speak about metadata and indexing data for multimedia collections as well as how indexing for non-text compares with indexing for text – similarities and differences.

This event is scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2017 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the AAP/NY offices.

The session is free, but sign-up is needed. Contact Sara Pinto to register, indicating whether you will attend in person or remotely.
