A new independent provider of cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) solutions has launched an online resource access management tool for libraries. LibLynx Gateway uniquely combines an access and authentication infrastructure with an optional personalized and mobile-ready user portal, providing libraries with a flexible and customized solution.
This gives librarians and other information managers an easy and affordable way to securely provide patrons with Single Sign On (SSO) and/or proxy IP access to library resources, on and off-site, from a single user portal. It is frustrating to deal with forgotten credentials. It is a drain on productivity and gives more library control back to the admins.
