The companies unveiled the combined functionality and user interfaces in adjacent exhibits at the Dataversity Enterprise Data World conference and expo in Atlanta.
The combined offerings expand access and use of the IRI Voracity big data integration and AnalytiX DS Unified metadata-driven automation and governance platforms for resellers and customers of both companies.
The bridge between the platforms is built on an API-level integration of metadata, which enables anyone with either platform to use the strengths of the other on a pay-to-play basis.
This is good news for the data geeks as it opens the door for more collaboration, which is always a plus in our book.
