Artificial intelligence (AI) is playing a vital role in helping businesses prepare for future legislation. Cloud Pro brought this interesting information to us in their article, “Box wants to use AI to simplify data compliance.”

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the European Council and the European Commission intends to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU). It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU. The primary objective of the GDPR is to give citizens and residents back control of their personal data. AI could make the process much easier in the future.

As AI evolves over time, metadata will be created with the intelligence to start recommending things based on previous search queries. We aren’t that far from there now.
