There have been many technological changes and advances over the past few decades, but none have had the impact on business and personal lives like the Internet of Things (IoT). This interesting topic came to our attention from Forbes in their article, “4 Reasons That Architecting For Change Is Critical For IoT.”
From computers and networks to e-commerce and mobile devices to managing household appliances and security, businesses and individuals have been blasted with new technology and absorbing it feels like drinking from a fire hose.
The IoT is quickly becoming mainstream, and together with artificial intelligence, robotics and other emerging technologies, it could end setting records on achievements and creating more impact than any of the technologies that preceded it.
Ironically, we are just beginning to scratch the surface of what is possible with the IoT. We are heading towards a world where everything is connected and better decisions can be made in real time.
