The 22nd International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries (TPDL) is scheduled for September 10-13, 2018 at the University of Porto, in Porto, Portugal. The Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI) annual international conference in 2018 will be co-located at the same time. The conferences will deliver two, parallel programs of peer-reviewed papers, tutorials and workshops. Delegates will register once, and will then be free to choose between the two programs, with some plenary sessions (keynotes) and social events bringing all delegates together.

The conferences will offer many interesting sessions and workshops in a variety of topics. Keynote speakers include Natalia Manola, a research associate in the University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications and the “Athena” Technology and Innovation Research Center. Her research interests include the topics of e-Infrastructures development and management, scientific data management, data curation and validation, text and data mining complex data Visualization, and research analytics.

A joint (TPDL/DCMI) Networked Knowledge Organization Systems (NKOS) Workshop will also be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
