The Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) is hosting an educational webinar in their 2019 series titled, “Making the Case for Embracing Micropublications: Are they a way forward for scholarly publishing?”

The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00-12:00 EDT and it isn’t too late to register.

A primary motivation for microPublications is to facilitate the publishing of both positive and negative research findings. There is a long recognized, but not successfully addressed, loss of knowledge due to lack of regular publication of negative research findings which are just as important as positive results.

Attendees such as publishing executives, editors, librarians and researchers should plan to hear from scientific curators with new roles as editors of microPublications, and a publisher who encourages this new publishing genre.
