Microsoft’s Build developer conference went digital this year to bring users information about new tools. Tech Crunch brought this news to us in their article, “Microsoft launches new tools for building fairer machine learning models.”

Microsoft put a strong emphasis on machine learning and highlighted its work on building more responsible and fairer artificial intelligence (AI) systems — both in the Azure cloud and Microsoft’s open-source toolkits.

As developers are increasingly tasked to learn how to build AI models, they are also tasked with interpreting them. Explaining the process, assuring they comply with regulations and presenting results are what users need. A couple of ways Microsoft is responding are with interpretML and the Fairlearn toolkit.

Build was jam-packed with content this year, and with 48 hours of constant live streaming content, developers had access to many new products and professionals who could help users make the most of their own technology.
